Claudia Perry | Theatre Associate

Claudia Perry is an Actress, Singer, Composer/Lyricist, Playwright and Director who has worked on stage and in film with Peter Falk, Fred Gwynne, Tony Musante, Jay Arnold, Paxton Whitehead and William Friedkin.

Claudia wrote and recorded Title Songs for the Indie Film, Variety and for TV Pilots, Dearly Beloved and Town Trekkers.  She wrote the newly adapted book for the Musical, Jamaica for Prince Music Theater and was Composer/Lyricist for Queen of Hearts, Off-Broadway at Harold Clurman Theatre.  Most recently she wrote and directed Horror Baby 2, a play about trauma for Eastern PA United Methodist Church Rally, Bethlehem, PA.

Her original musical, Hard Luck Dame – A Film Noir Musical, was a semi-finalist at the Samuel French Festival, NYC in which she also appeared.  Society Hill Sheraton first debuted her musicals, Hard Luck Dame,  Ay, Caramba! – A Latin Dance Musical and Doctors & Nurses – A Medical Spoof. She was composer for The Body Shop, which ran at West Side Arts Repertory Theatre, NYC and Artists-in-Residence Concert Series, Kingston, NY.

As a director, she has worked with adults and children directing the world premieres of, Snow White – The Musical, Hansel & Gretel – The Musical and Alice in Wonderland – The Musical (with costumes by Broadway’s David Toser) at The Kelsey Theatre, West Windsor, NJ.

She has directed White Christmas, Kiss Me Kate and West Side Story, which toured Assisted Living Communities and Nursing Homes in the Delaware Valley area. She wrote and directed Goodbye My Broadway Baby, a 14-character Whodunit, specifically for Seniors which ran at Willow Valley Community, Lancaster, PA and Attleboro Community, Langhorne, PA.

As a Drama Teacher, she works with Acting basics – Improvisation, Scene Study and Monologues.

She has recorded the CD, Little Girl with a Big Band as vocalist with Jazz Celebration Big Band.   Member: AEA, SAG-AFTRA, Dramatists Guild Inc., BMI-Musical Theatre Workshop (Alumna).

Claudia is bringing two of her dynamic original shows: Hard Luck Dame and Ay, Caramba! to Open Hearts On Tour. These rollicking seven-character crowd pleasers are great for special events and functions!
