Michael Baumann

A Philadelphia treasure, born and bred in the City of Brotherly Love, Michael Baumann exhibits more than a little hometown pride! Michael loves all things Philadelphia – our sports, our music and our people! Michael is a huge Broadway and film fan, and a walking encyclopedia of entertainment trivia and history.

Raised in a home full of music, Michael was surrounded by diverse musical influences growing up. He loved Judy Garland, Lena Horne, Johnny Mathis, early Rock and Roll, Broadway, and Motown (including Diana Ross and the Supremes). Michael’s mother, Laurie had a beautiful voice and helped shape his full, warm baritone-tenor voice.

Michael holds a BA from LaSalle University in English; and a MA from Arcadia University in Secondary English Education. As a former teacher, who worked for over 30 years with the American Red Cross (Blood Services) as a trainer and recruiter, Michael’s humor and warmth skillfully engages the audience in interactive dialogue.
